Form P53 small pots reclaim tax

On the online form P53 to reclaim tax paid on a small pots withdrawal it asks for the pension provider's tax reference. As the pension arrangement is being closed are they supposed to provide a P45 with this information on ?

I believe so yes. Or you can get it from your Personal Tax Account (assuming they have already reported the payment to HMRC).1
