Smart radiator thermostats (without boiler control)

I have bought several products in the past that rely upon a company-specific web app that subsequently becomes obsolete.

Which smart radiator valves would I choose to have a good expectation of future support?

I probably posted on the wrong board. I decided, after much deliberation, to buy the Drayton Wiser thermostats. So I  incorporated boiler control in the end. I hope to have all of the radiator thermostats in place before the dreaded October.

Are probably the most open/compatible and I don't believe require cloud control (all my shelly devices have cloud disabled but I don't have the TRV)
  • I have on Drayton Wiser radiator thermostat but I had to return another one because I could not stop it overriding the room thermostat on the same zone.  There ought to be a priority setting in the controls but there isn't.

Used a few of these automated TRV - they were very noisy. I have had a Netatmo thermostat for around 5ish years. Added their TRVs a few years ago.
You can leave the main stat not linked to boiler, but it would defeat the purpose of having a main stat.

I currently have 6 linked TRV and one main stat.

@Sterlingtimes what heating system do you have?

    System 1 - 14 x 250W SunModule SW + Enphase ME215 microinverters (July 2015)
    System 2 - 9.2 KWp + Enphase IQ7+ and IQ8AC (Feb 22 & Sep 24) + Givenergy AC Coupled inverter + 2 * 8.2KWh Battery (May 2022) + Mitsubishi 7.1 KW and 2* Daikin 2.5 KW A2A Heat Pump

Thank you. I have a Vaillant heat-only boiler with a hot water cylinder with 16 radiators. Since 2015, I have been using Drayton/Schneider MiGenie, which does not incorporate TRVs. Last night, I upgraded from MiGenie to Drayton/Schneider Wiser. I have purchased 12 TRVs for incorporation into the system. My total project price is £547.

I am burning through 21,000 kWh of gas a year. From October onwards, this would cost £3,150 excluding the standing charge. We will need a household family meeting to discuss ongoing usage. I would get payback in a year if I can make an 18% reduction in my usage.

    The following should help:

    1) Set your boiler flow temperature as close to 50 degrees as possible

2)) Invest in radiator reflectors and loft insulation. Block off any air leaks with tape if you cannot invest in triple glazing.

    3) If you have single fin (thin radiators), now is the time to replace them with the largest possible T22 double panel double fin radiators. The heating output is greatly increased while allowing for the reduced flow temperature (#1) to save £
