Does anyone know of any government schemes or grants or anything from Manchester local council for getting Solar installed and a replacement boiler?
Im a single person homeowner and work full time so i dont qualify for any of the edco bits as im not receiving any benefits but its not like im rich and have a lot of disposable income to afford to replace an ageing boiler 20+ years and to see about reducing electricity bills with Solar, im not bothered about selling back just with a battery for my own use.

says noth About being on benefits it's either for everyone depending on energy performance of your home or income level. Although those on benefits get 100% you may get less depending on income

Selling back to the grid is a big part of making your money back and is really important. Even with a battery you will probably only use 50-70% of what you generate and in summer you will be exporting a lot of kWhs.
An interest free loan will probably be the best you can get as a working homeowner.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
