Pension Input Amount LGPS

I only have a small £2500 ish active LGPS membership all CARE.

£2500 then £14 CPI added then £650 New Years pension added. So worth £3164 at the end of the year.

Yet they have calculated PIA at over £20k? Maybe they include my AVC but nowhere else on the statement is the AVC mentioned.

Have you read this, which might help: https://www.lgpsmember.org/your-pension/the-essentials/tax/the-annual-allowance/

It sounds as if you might have asked (or intended to ask!) one question and they've answered another?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

Yes I think I’ve answered my own question it includes AVC’s.

The statement says you PIA has been calculated using your pensionable pay. But it has very little to do with that.

Simply put, the LGPS administrator should be collecting AVC contribution figures from the AVC provider in order to do an AA calculation involving both AVC contributions and main scheme accrual. If they haven't done that in previous years, that was a mistake.
