  • Air fryer.  2.5 times cheaper than using the oven... apparently.

A remoska. You can use it as a mini oven, so great for food that needs baking

For baking, ninja thing or remoska. Both very expensive though..cheaper to use than a whole oven. You can also get mini table top type ovens.

Air fryer. Go for a squarish one rather than round with a basket, and keep an eye out for Black Friday deals.

    Hi

We have a Russell Hobbs 26090 mini oven.  It is an investment, we paid £80 for ours but it is absolutely brilliant.  We live in an area with no mains gas so our big oven runs on electric, and having the mini oven means we hardly ever have to use it.

We do use the slow cooker a lot, and the microwave for some things.  There are only two of us here, I guess a mini oven would be no good for a family, but we bought some extra trays so we can easily get two trays of food in it.
  • I have a Breville Halo air fryer, which has three internal trays, a basket for chips, and a rotisserie. Along with a microwave it's all I need now, and I've yet to find something that it can't be used for. It's really quick, and I have a meal ready in the time it would have taken my over to pre-heat. A lot cheaper to use too.

Thanks, everyone. Is there any benefit to a device that also has a dehydrator?
Do many people use this feature?

Multicooker with air fryer, the frying/baking vessel is small but perfect for one or two servings. The multicooker for batch cooking so there are "ready meals" in the freezer
