Vodafone Broadband Deal - Constant Web Site Error When Trying To Buy

I've been trying to buy the Superfast 2 broadband deal on MSE for over 2 weeks. I get to the 'check out' button and the message comes up that it is checking details and then a white screen with 'An error has occurred' message. The original deal expired, but there's another deal which expires in September. My wife has tried it on her phone and gets the same message.

Tried Vodafone by calling them, but they can't offer the same deal. The deal is only through 3rd parties.

Anyone have a solution???

    I'm afraid I have no solution for you, but it seems as though we're having the same problem. I am after the exact same broadband deal, which according to the MSE site comes with a £125 voucher (120 days later). 

    Every time I click through from the MSE site, it takes all my details and then says "Sorry, something went wrong", and I can get no further. It said that if the problem continued, I should ring Vodafone on 08080 408408. I did this, and the person I spoke to confirmed that they could offer me the same deal (Superfast 2 at £22 per month), but they could not offer me the voucher as that is only available via third parties. 

    I agree it's frustrating, and I am unsure what to do now. The deal is better than my deal with my current provider, but the voucher would come in very handy right now and I'm not sure I want to proceed without it.
  • Any chance that you have been sent an email from no-reply@giftcloud.com? Should have gone to the email address that you are using for the attempted signup. Contains a link back to a Vodafone order page but with an acknowledgement of the gift.
  • Thank you for your suggestion. In my case, I now have about 5 emails saying 
    "Thank you for submitting your details for the following offer:
    £125 Gift Card

    If you haven't done so already, please complete your purchase on the Vodafone website using the below link to ensure you get your reward."

    I click on the link to complete my purchase and get another error message. I just seem to be stuck in an endless loop.

    OK, feeble suggestion I know but have you tried a different browser?
  • I’ve tried using Chrome and Firefox, but I get the same problem with both. 
    After I’ve entered all the required details and select to process the order, I get a message saying: 
    Something’s not right with your personal details. 

    It doesn’t give any more specific detail about what it doesn’t like and I’ve triple checked all the details. 

    I even phoned Vodafone and went through an application with someone - he said it all worked fine, so it seems to relate specifically to the web site or this offer. 

    The trouble is, unless you go via the web site, you won’t get the gift voucher. 

    Has anyone got this to work?

    The provider of the vouchers (gift cloud) say that it’s a problem with the Vodafone  servers (?!?). 

    Vodafone sales team told me to screenshot the message and send it to the provider of the promotion, which sounds like a guarantee that I’ll never see the voucher. 

    Seems like I need to find a different ISP,
