Remortgage with DMP

Hi,
I was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction to a broker/lender who might be able to help.
My partner currently owns a property with her ex husband with a value of £380k. There is a £155k mortgage (with nationwide)on the property, along with a second charge (which went toward home improvements) for £25k. They parted ways and are now divorced. She lives in the house with her two children. There is a court arrangement (consent order) in place that says he is entitled to £70k of the equity in the property.
My partner and I have decided to move in with each other (I currently rent). We'd like to remortgage the house that she currently owns, pay off the second charge, and pay her ex husband his money. Together we have a joint income of approximately £65k.
The thing is I have a DMP in place with StepChange which has been in place for 2 and a half years, so it looks like we're trying to find a broker/lender who might be able to arrange things around the DMP.
Can anyone suggest someone/a company who might be able to help? We have already seen a mortgage advisor who was recommended to us by a family member and they said that we wouldn't be able to raise enough funds because of the DMP. We aren't convinced that they are a specialist in this area and so thought we would ask elsewhere to make sure we've exhausted all of our options.
Many thanks in advance.

Speak to another broker. I think there will be options, one broker saying it cant be done does not mean it cant be done.
