Pay for advice; you are genuinely looking at a niche product there, even more so with this question.  Do not make assumptions about what HMRC or their "guidelines" say.

    This 100% ^^^^^

Information on gov.uk is no use if you get it wrong, it is the relevant legislation that matters, not the (sometimes) dumbed down stuff on gov.uk.

Posting here isn't a good idea. Any number of total strangers can warmly reassure you that all will be well - with zero comeback against them when you find it isn't.

Pay for advice; it's well worth it. 'Reading many things' is no substitute - the authors aren't liable either!
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

    Thanks for the reply.

I appreciate that you cannot believe everything you read and often there is conflicting information about many topics. In this case the reading has been official current HMRC guidlines and manuals.

To be honest I have already taken some advice and my own reasearch was to confirm this being correct. It is also always reassuring to have this verified, as in my previous experience experts aren't always reliable either....

As per my other reply below I have delved deeper than the basic info on Gov.uk and been looking at specifc detailed HMRC guidance and various manuals.

Possibly not, but at least they have PI cover if you enter into a proper contractual relationship with them.

Have you discussed with your SSAS provider/administrator?
