New mortgage product with existing lender

My current mortgage deal was coming to an end 03.08.22, so I accepted a new deal with the same provider on 01.06.22 [NB: mortgage offer dated 20.05.2022; 14 days to accept; 01.06.2022 - I accepted and sent a cheque]. The cheque for the new mortgage product cleared on the 09.06.22. To date I have received nothing in writing that the new mortgage product is in place. I spoke to the mortgage provider twice, (30.06.22 and 02.08.22), each time it was confirmed that all was fine and that I would receive confirmation in writing within two weeks of the new deal starting. It is over 3 weeks since my new deal started (new deal started 03.08.2022) and I have not received anything in writing confirming that the product is in place. The first payment based on the new mortgage product is due to leave my account the 03.09.22. At the moment the mortgage details that show on my online account, contrary to the assurances I received by phone, shows that I move onto the standard variable rate (nearly 2.5% higher than the new mortgage product I believe I have accepted and a product fee paid). I have also written to the mortgage provider asking for written confirmation. What more can I do? Is this normal? Surely the mortgage provider is not adhering to basic FCA rules? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as this is causing much anxiety. Thank you!

You will find out on the 3-09-22 so why worry?
As long as you have proof that you paid the fee I am sure the lender will honour the deal.
Well done on fixing.
I am guessing that June was the earliest you could get a new deal ?
With the current crisis it's a good decision.0
