Financial Advice - Inheritance received

Good Afternoon, I wonder if you're able to advise or point me in the right direction please? I have recently received a large inheritance from our late mother & not sure where to start. 1. I want to clear all debts , i.e car loan, credit cards x3 & clear the balance & have these shown on credit file as settled.
2. Do I wait a 2 month period to allow the credit files to catch up & show all debts settled before speaking with a all Mortgage Broker to then apply for a joint mortgage?
3. Do I ask the Mortgage broker to carry out a soft search for us both once Debts have been cleared and a 2 month wait?
any advice is very much appreciated.

Sorry for your loss.
Clear your debts ASAP as your paying interest on the debt.
You talk about Large inheritance
You also talk about mortgage brokers and buying a property !
Will you have enough for a 25/40% deposit once you have cleared your debts ?
What interest rate are you paying on the car loan ?
Speak to your mortgage broker asap0 -
Hi, thank you for your reply and response. My car loan was 6.9 Apr with Lloyds Finance, I have cleared my debts now, and the question is do I wait a month or so for my credit file to show all debts cleared i.e. Car Loan £4K, Credit Card £1267, Credit card £4593, My Deposit will be £60K for a £389K Mortgage.0
