Please please help! My daughter is 5 months into shared ownership purchase. At very start wanted 40% share and details were sent showing rent amount Vs mortgage amount. Current owner has 25% share with Accent housing being the agents retaining remaining 75%. My daughter is constantly being told it is her responsibility to instruct her solicitor to attain the other 15% to make her mortgage correct, there is no problem with money side although TSB did move the parameters of the deposit which were met. They are now saying that unless TSB allow staircasing on purchase my daughter will have to pull out costing her thousands, this makes no sense as details were known from very start as I said above. Surely Accent housing have to make another 15% of the house available as daughters mortgage is already in place. Please someone help with a very frustrated and worried daughter.
