Benefit "bad gal" or YSL "false lash effect"?

Just wondered if anyone had a preference for either of these 2 mascaras? Or should I purchase another make?

Looking mainly for volume, but lengthening would be a bonus too!

I love the YSL mascara,its the only one that I've brought time & time again,it makes my lashes look thicker than any other brand I've tried(I'm a self confessed make up junkie,so i've tried a few) infact I hope santa will be putting one in my stocking !!!

I prefer the YSL one. The benefit one has an enormous brush and it's really hard not to get it all around your eyes, as well as on your lashes. Also feel the benefit one is a bit clumpy.

Haven't tried the YSL one, but I bought the bad gal benefit mascara and used it once, it is utterly useless. The brush is too big and you end up with it all over your eye, eyelid, eyebrow, etc. Also, its not a very good mascara when you can get it on your eyelashes. I'd give the YSL a go.

never tried YSL but don't fall for the marketing on bad gal blue. Its just blue mascara. Why did i expect anything else???

Well I've purchased YSL and Urban Decay "Big Fatty" mascaras. Fingers crossed they both work out worth it. Thanks for the advice folks

I actually liked the Bad Gal mascara until I looked in the mirror when I was out and discovered it was half way down my face. Not a good look.

Benefit's Bad Gal mascara smudges Terribly!! I had to return it as I ended up looking like a raccoon everytime I put it on. It is the only Benefit product that I have found to be of poor quality as I like all their other make up.

Not tried the YSL but it has to be better than Benefit.

Another vote for YSL, it's my favourite mascara. I always wear it in the colour Violet (No. 4)

My daughters swear by YSL, far too expensive for me though, I get through life with Maybelline, the pink and green one, lol!
