Can I request a reduction in payments

Hi, I’ve been paying child support maintenance since my divorce which isn’t a problem but given the recent increases in utility bills, interest rates, NIC, fuel and general cost of living, am I in my right to ask the CSA for a review to try to reduce my payments as my disposable income has significantly reduced because of all the increases.
Thanks in advance

No, your child maintenance payments are calculated based on your income. The cost of looking after kids has also increased thanks to all of the things you mentioned so it would be somewhat counter-productive to be cutting the amount of money parents receive.1

I doubt it as the other parent's costs have increased also. Bad experience with CSA here! Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!1
