Worst tinned baked beans I have ever bought. Everyday essentials baked beans from Aldi. Watery and tasteless at 21p, you have got to expect it. But Asda and Iceland at 25p a tin. It's definitely worth the extra 4p. I'll not be buying them from Aldi anymore.

Squeeze a little tomato purée a good grind of black pepper and a tiny bit of Marmite and they will be much better.

You mean about 4p's worth?  :)

Personally find Aldi 22p baked beans fine , don't like their more expensive corale beans though , strange taste

Also has a noticeable cinnamon taste when I bought one to try which was not nice.

Possibly have sweeteners in it rather than sugar??

Try Sainsbury's Hubbards range of baked beans, 21p a can and good quality.

We prefer them to the Corale ones too, I just pour away a couple of dessertspoonfuls of the thin sauce that's usually on top of the can as you open it, then stir in a dollop of tomato puree. I add tom puree to any baked beans though as we like a strong tomato flavour.
