Teaching in Wales (Primary and SEN)

My partner and I are looking into the possibility of relocating to Wales to continue our teaching careers, both Primary trained but I am a complex need teacher.
We have started looking into areas and I wonder where to start looking for vacancies? Is there a central bank of vacancies or does Wales have councils that advertise on behalf of schools etc?
We also have have 3 children, eldest will year 10 (year we aim to move!) and youngest, year 6! Which larger towns would you suggest we look into as we prefer town living to City or village, but would be happy to leave 15 miles away from a city!
Thanks for reading, it’s a bit of a mix of teaching and Wales itself. Hopefully some teachers can help, I would love to hear from anyone who has also relocated their family to Wales and it’s been a great success or from those who tried it and it didn’t work, and why?
Best wishes.

Hi,
I relocated to Wales and work for an LA (non-teaching). Teaching vacancies are advertised on e-teach and our council jobs page direct. You can also apply fir supply work direct via the recruitment page.
Depending on which area you move to, you may find the majority of schools are Welsh medium, so bear that in mind.We had to change our initial choice (Ceredigion/Gwynedd) for language reasons as we were looking to transfer to an LA and many vacancies required Welsh language skills.
There is a big difference between north, south and mid Wales. Mid wales (us) is largely rural and although stunning beautiful, lacks a lot of facilities you may be used to in a town.
We absolutely love it though and would never move back to the Home Counties.Good luck!0
