Hello everyone I need some help and advice in regards to buying a house 120 miles away.
My wife and I live in Harlow essex and we want to move to the new forest.
I'm employed and want to stay in my job but its located near harlow my wife is sell employed and runs her business in harlow
We want to sell our flat and buy a house in the new forest and our plan is to remain in our jobs so I would work 5 days a week and stay with my mum near where I work and my wife will do the same but for 3 days.
Would we be accepted for a mortgage with these stipulations?
Thanks in advance

@kitch85 Depends on the details and whether the underwriter sees the arrangement as plausible in the context of those details. It's hard to give a definitive answer to your question as there's a significant amount of subjectivity involved.kitch85 said:Hello everyone I need some help and advice in regards to buying a house 120 miles away.

I've had clients in past who moved from Essex to the south coast, but in their cases their jobs were in Central London and plenty of people (on professional incomes) did the rail commute from down south to London for work.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
