Could lender request to see bank statments again after letter of acceptance?

    Avoid doing anything that can negatively affect your mortgage acceptance before exchange/completion.

    @fitzykev If you mean mortgage offer by 'letter of acceptance', then the simple answer is yes, they could.

    It's unlikely, especially with mainstream lenders.

    I stopped using my account for deposits for betting. Now I have letter of acceptance I have been depositing the odd 5 pounds here and there for bets

    If you require an extension to your mortgage offer, some lenders ask for latest payslip and bank statement to ensure circumstances haven't changed.
