I have recently purchased above item from John Lewis at £818, but i have seen the same purchase at currys for £629. I feel i am been over priced. I am wondering whether to return it back but what excuse shall give them?

Hi,
It would depend how long you have had it.
If it is still boxed, or you can get it back in the box, and it looks suitable for re-selling, John Lewis will take it back no questions asked.
If your brought it over the internet, they will also collect it free of charge.

I doubt you are comparing like with like.
TVs from John Lewis have a 5 year warranty.
Does the Currys price include this?
BTW Wasn't this one was it?

If you have bought in the last 28 days JL will still match the price. Just contact them giving details, they will contact store to confirm price and if correct will refund you difference. As long as cheaper offer was in a Curry's store and not online. Does not matter about the 5 year gurantee.0
