A level English Literature online?

I’m pretty much housebound for a few months, and wondered if I could study A Level Literature online. Google brought up loads of adverts for courses costing £800+ I’m 60+, not on any benefits, and bored!

My daughter is doing her a level English literature online as her school cut the course at the last minute as she was the only pupil who wanted to take it.

The tuition is virtually non existent, but her close with ICS Learn was a lot less than £800, I can't remember precisely but we paid something like £46/month for a few months!

Thanks. With ICS it’s £349 (without exam fee). I’m very tempted, the Shakespeare is Othello, my favourite of his
  • Go for it. It sounds a good way to turn a negative experience into something supremely positive

Shocking! What on earth are the kids studying if they eschew core subjects?!
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

If you're wanting to do it to challenge your brain rather than for the qualification, take a look at the literature courses available through Edx, Coursera, Futurelearn & Openlearn. Some are free!

Maybe not exactly what you want but OpenLearn (Open University) has over 1000 free course and some of them are 'badged' which means you get a badge for completing and this would be evidence of study.
