Barclays Family and Friends mortgage

We would like to help our tenant buy the house she is renting from us. House valued at 115k last year. We are looking for 110k, she has talked to an advisor and has been advised that she can afford 102k.
We've seen the Barclays Family and friends product and are contemplating offering 10k to her via the scheme.
Would appreciate your thoughts/observations. Thanks

That is nice of you.
Are you selling at going rate or using last year's value?

Last year's value. We will get some return on our 2012 investment and it makes the price of the property more realistic, we think - this years values have gone nuts.....
at the risk of sounding sanctimonious, we have been fortunate in life and believe in sharing good firtune.0 -
It's your personal choice.
If it is something you want to do and are comfortable with your decision, nothing to prevent you going ahead.0
