Good luck on your journey, you are making great progress. Have a good day decluttering.

I think I'd be inclined to leave it in your savings account until the last minute! You might as well earn a bit of interest on it rather than giving your hard earned to Tesco to earn money on in their account! It's not going to make any difference to how much you'll pay over the term of the 0% deal.
It will also probably be easier to keep track of how much of the shortfall you've saved; rather than paying some off and not really knowing how much the shortfall is going to be at the end.

I think I will leave it in savings, @joedenise.
Thanks to some more eBay sales yesterday, the pot now stands at £312.38. My target is £1,046.98 so I have £734.60 to go by February - not bad for the first month. I don't think every month will be this good though!
I should have a no spend day today and I am working from home and have plenty of food in.
I did spend some money last night as I decided to order some packs of pretty birthday cards on Etsy which worked out at £1.08 each. Being organised means I won't end up panic-spending £3.50 on a card at the last minute each time, so I reckon that's saved me around £38.0 -
Do you usually work in the office? If so could you add the amount your fares would have cost you into your savings pot to increase that in an easy way? After all if you'd had to go into work you would have had to spend that money! Just an idea but could be worth considering.

Well it was a thought, shame though as it could have been quite an extra to the savings pot!0

Travel costs aside, I managed no spend days on Monday and yesterday and should be able to have another one today unless I am tempted by an ice cream at work.
I'm staying in a relative's flat in central London for two nights to get round the train strikes (they're in France), and have brought food from home for breakfasts, lunches and dinners rather than spending more on meals. Last night I met up with a friend and walked back to the flat instead of getting the bus or tube. And today (depending on the weather) I will either walk to the office or get a bus which is a lot cheaper than my usual train.
I think I might actually have money left over this month, but that's TBC.0 -
Morning all. I just had a nice surprise - I switched mobile phone SIM tariffs this month and presumably due to the crossover this has made my next bill only £7.86! I was expecting £12 so will put the difference in my savings pot for the Tesco card. Every little helps, as Tesco would tell me.
It should be another low or no spend day today as I don't really have any plans to buy anything and I have food already in for dinner.0 -
Nice! Little victories as (I think) Fletcher used to say in Porridge1

Morning. I used my O2 Priority app to get a free sausage roll at Gregg’s yesterday 😅 And I’ve sold another dress on eBay so will be packaging that up to post tomorrow.
A bit of extra freelance work came in on Friday so I’ll be doing that today, and really need to list some unwanted furniture and a rug on Gumtree. I hate Gumtree though - so many people inquire but then disappear!1
