Now 2022 and Asda still can’t fulfill orders for skimmed milk

Like forumite who posted in 2018 I’m sick of ASDA. Disabled so can’t shop I. Store and I rely on Asda delivery every 10 /14days.  Main item is milk and repeatedly they don’t have one. Spoke to customer service who told me to try logging on just before 11 pm. Didn’t work as they said they had none.
so then I cancelled order ,kept items in trolley and in morning logged back in. They had milk! So I then completed order but had to wait till 9 pm for a delivery.
now that system isn’t working either and I’m left with no milk until I find someone. Who can shop for me. Most annoying thing is there were 2 pt cartons available but shopper obviously couldn’t do the maths on that! They actually substituted a vanilla candle for vanilla once! Goes lovely in a cake😄
Anyway just venting and asking if anyone finds Morrisons or Tesco more reliable? I have annual pass with Asda but what’s point when you can’t get basics.

Never had a problem with milk at Asda so it must be area specific. I also shop at Tesco and have only had milk subbed once in all the years I have used them and that was 6 pints subbed for 6 x 1 pint.

Try  Morrisons, Tesco, Waitrose, Ocado or Sainsburys, Iceland, Amazon fresh x

Might there be a local milkman or business such as www.milkandmore.co.uk available in your area?

How they can know 3 weeks in advance they will be out of stock I don't know.

Been OK for the last month or so.

I keep some in the freezer and at least a week on the fridge.

Other stores in area don’t appear to have an issue.

I use Milk & More for milk now. It is more expensive, but free delivery and no minimum order whatsoever. Delivery up to three times a week and always arrives before 07:00. Very reliable. Even though the milk is more expensive, it's cheaper than trying to make up a £40 order just to get the milk.
