My son has just moved into his first private rented flat , is he entitled to the council tax rebate as he was not paying Council Tax until August? He hasn't previously received it as this is his first home.

No, he would have to have been resident there on 1 April 2022 to qualify for the £150 rebateIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1
