Solar PV Export meter

I've just had solar  PV installed.
I've noticed than my old meter had a solid red light, which I guess means I'm not using the grid electric, now it's darker it's flashing.

But the generation meter they've installed does this look correct? The arrows are on "import" surely I should be exporting to the grid.

This is how much your panels have generated.

I think my installer said it would switch between IMP and EXP but I've never seen it change since panels went on in March.

I would certainly be using electricity every second of the day.
Stand by DVD player, microwave and various clock displays, the fridge/freezer maybe running and I always have either the TV or radio on.
I don't have a clue when I am drawing from the grid, as my meters are first generation.

If you have a 'smart' meter,  it will have an export register that you can read occasionally.  If not,  afraid you're stuffed.

It doesn't matter if it says IMP, they've just wired the meter up in reverse, those meters are essentially pointless anyway, they only have to fit them due to MCS guidance.

That's what I thought. I was supprised to see it fitted. I would of thought everything would be via Smart Meters
