Buying class 3 NI contributions to fill missing years in state pension

Hi ,total newb here.
I am.seeking advice with regards to purchasing class 3 contributions to fill gaps in my state pension.
I have a current forecast of £6650 p/Yr and forecast showing I have 11 years missing.
I am under both new and old scheme ,from what I understand I can buy  back years back to 2006.
Some years are paid but state not full, other years are not paid attall.
There are years also where I am sure I paid the full amount when working self employed but not showing.
I also had a period if 4 years contracted out of serps.
Some of the recent years are showing a message stating"
we are  Checking this year you do not have to do anything "
I'm aware I can only purchase years backdated to 2006 until next year.
I've also read from this wonderful forum that it may be not financially viable to buy certain years as it will not improve my pension.
I am currently not in the UK and really need to work out what to do.
I am happy to purchase class 3's to raise pension to as close to max as possible.
I've seen some very good advice on this forum and really hope that some can help me with this situation.
I'm happy to supply any information I have from the DWP.
HELP!!

You need to post up exactly what your forecast shows, there are up to 3 figures on the front page, how many pre 2016 years and post 2016 years are currently held, which years are not full, any COPE amount shown and which tax year you reach SPA.  From that the basic requirements can be worked out.

    HELP!!
    So off the top of my head, in order to help we really need to know;

    1. how many years do you still have to go before you reach state pension age (up to the end of the tax year before you reach SPA)?
    2. Do you intend working for any of those ?
    3.  Are you intending to continue to be out of the UK or to return here ?
    4. How many complete NI years do you currently have ?
    5. How many complete NI years pre-dating tax year 2016-17 do you have ?
    6. Are the gaps before or after 2016-17 ?
    7. By my reckoning, £6660 a year equates to just under £128 a week - is that correct ? (your forecast should give a weekly figure as well as an annual one
    8. That suggests that you probably need 11 more years to get up to the full possible amount of £185.15. Which seems a bit of a coincidence, and leads me to the question - when you say your forecast is showing you have 11 years missing, are you sure it's not saying that you need 11 more years to reach the maximum, rather than that you have 11 gaps in your record ?

    Hi,and thank you for replying.
I can answer some of the questions now the rest I will have to go and find.
I will be 67 on 12/05/2035 so 13 years left.
You we're correct in your comment it's 11 years more contributions needed to obtain maximum pension my mistake
There are gaps before 2016 aswel as after.
The rest I will have to go back to the UK government Website and obtain the figures.
I will post the info that you have asked for.
    It may take a while!
    Thanks for your help.

That is great but you do really need to include your current weekly amount accrued.

Depending on where the annual figure you quoted has originated from can mean there is a bit of flex in the weekly amount and that is what really matters.

Someone who has accrued say £158.65/week might need to add 6 years to reach £185.15/week.   The first five could be adding £5.29/week but the sixth just the final £0.05/week so much less attractive if it involves spending £800 on voluntary NI contributions!
