Please can somebody offer me some advice on this. I was made bankrupt in 2020, discharged earlier this year.
I have just received a county court claim form from CP Plus Ltd TA Groupnexus. The claim is for £335.28 . It is from a parking charge dated 4/1/2017 at MOTO Exeter 2. They state that "despite requests.......", I might have received initial correspondence, but definitely have not had anything in at least the last two years. I did not include it in the bankruptcy as I didn't realise it was due/outstanding in 2020.
How can I defend this please?

Bankruptcy is an all encompassing arrangement, all your debts, known about or not, are vested in it.
As it was a private parking charge notice, and was outstanding at the time you went bankrupt, then it was written off along with all your other debt when you were discharged.
Only magistrates court fines and certain other debts are exempt from this.
You defend it on the basis that it was included in your bankruptcy of 2020, and there is no case to answer.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Have a look in the parking tickets forum - Group Nexus and how to deal with them are well known there.
