So what you are really saying is that you have an account with £200 credit on it (the other £400 isn't really relevant). If you don't plan to spend the £200 with Jacamo, then ask them to credit that back to the associated bank account or card.

Not sure what you are asking.
Scenario 1: You got the £200 item on account credit, they lost the item and refunded
Scenario 2: You got the £200 item on account credit, you paid the credit off, they lost the item and they refunded

    Should result in:
Scenario 1 should have left you with £0 balance and £400 of credit available
Scenario 2 should have left you with £200 credit balance and £400 of credit available, so £600 available to spend

Sometimes for Scenario 1 it takes some time to balance out. Either way you still only have £400 of actual credit available to you to spend when it all pans out.

I had £400 credit limit. In total my available credit was £200 ( left to spen) because I had spent some and paid some back.. then I get £400 refund for a item that was lost. So the £200 plus the £400 refund makes £600 but my total credit limit is only £400 so how can I have £600 when my limit is actually £400

You are still not being very clear.

You bought some items and paid some of it off (what exactly was the balance prior to the £400 transaction)?

If you bought a £400 item on credit with a £400 credit limit then to end up with a credit available of £200 you must have already had a £200 a positive credit balance on the account through your payments.
That would mean when they refunded you, you are back to a £200 positive credit balance and the £400 available credit

It is all down to what you have previously bought and paid off the account. You need to be clear on what the balance was before the £400 purchase.

Unless it is the system playing catch up.

The account balance was £200 out of £400 limit.. plus the £400 refund on the account makes£600 but my credit limit is only £400 so I have credit limit £400 but £600 to spend. Meaning my account is £200 over the credit limit.

Yes, that is entirely possible if you had already paid £200 more than the products you have kept. That would give you a £200 positive account balance which you can still take to negative £400 as credit. The difference between the two is £600.

Have you over time paid £200 more than the items you have kept?

    That would explain it then.

As per the first post I made, you can request the £200 positive balance back if you do not plan to spend it. Otherwise it is there to spend and should be the balance used before and account credit that has an interest rate is used.
