Scottish Power have refused my Feed In Tariff reading (and I am not alone)

I tried to send my FIT reading 90 days following my last reading and it was refused for being "higher than expected" the site then directed me to a page via a link which resulted in an error 404 message. The other option was to send an email with a clear photograph of my meter. I followed the advice and got no acknowledgement of receipt of my email. It has been over 5 days now and still I have no email back from Scottish Power. The Scottish power consumer forum is full of customers complaining of this issue since March 2022. I have a real problem with the fact that companies which, right now, are raking in record profits are delaying paying the Feed In Tariff to customers who, were they to fail paying their energy bills on time, would be punished by said companies.
How can we ensure we get a prompt payment for the energy we supply them with?

I have been with them since 2015 and they do work at Glacial pace. I sent the email and waited. Think it took 2+weeks“Don't raise your voice, improve your argument." - Desmond Tutu
