Mortgage application - have I messed up?!

Hello! I’m applying for my first mortgage, the applications going through and I have some regular payments coming into my bank for some online work I did - not declared, doing surveys etc. it amounts to 1400 over three months and the mortgage broker has asked about if it’s a second job, I’ve not declared this as I didn’t think much of it as individual payments now im
totally freaking out on what to say! Have I ruined my chances of getting the mortgage now? Help help helpppp

@lottielotti Based on the limited info in your post it *should* be fine, just tell your broker the truth. If it is taxable income and something that you started in this tax-year, then you probably only need to declare it in your next Self Assessment so from April 2023.
