Morning all. 1 UU from the weekend:
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray: WBA and already had 2 in the makeup stash that I bought on offer last year (it was a buy 1 get 1 free situation). I've used cheaper versions but they just aren't as effective.
Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20174 -
Never got round to posting in July so a few UU’s to report:-
Kiehls vitamin C Eye Serum - ok but have found a better eye product
Origins gloomaway grapefruit body soufflé - WBA this was pack of 3 and all now used, love them
Alpha H vitamin A - nice enough but did not notice any difference to my skin so WNBA
Kiehls super multi corrective cream - again nice but no difference to skin
Yardley rose soap - came in pack of 3 in beauty box, not something I would buy but it lasts for ages and smells nice, now on my last one
Ins - just ordered 2x Uniq one hair treatment. It is my favourite hair product and will last ages
will need to order Roc eye cream as almost run out and I have no more eye creams left! Will also need to buy foundation as nearly run out, I usually order a few at a time as far cheaper this way.
Still aiming to finish a hand cream, just so many to use!Entering a few comps here and there 2020 seems my best year for wins so far:- iphone xs, limited edition whiskey, Masha and the Bear toys, newborn baby stuff, 3 x books, 12 months membership to diet app, bottle of syrup, Baby Shark singing puppet, children’s book, Nasty vegan shake x 2 packs.3 -
I've sort of lost track of which INs actually fell in August, so I'll try to work that out and post later! For now...
GA
Revlon Super Lustrous Shine Lipstick 3.1g - Dewy Peach - Not my shade
The Body Shop Mango Sorbet Lip Juicer 4g - Quite a misleading description, nothing juicy about this! It was more like a matte balm
TA - Out of date
Clinique Chubby Stick 08 Grandest Grape 3g
UU
Coca-Cola Cherry coke lip balm 4g - WDBA, love these
Elemis Pro-Collagen Energising Marine Cleanser 150ml - Nice face wash, nothing that special though, WMBA
Femfresh Feminine Wash 250ml - 0% Sensitive - WBA
Jeanne En Provence Shower Oil 250ml - Jasmine - WNBA Not keen on the scent but liked the oil
Nivea Lip balm spf15 - Cherry Shine x 2 - WDBA, love these too!
The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Eau de Cologne 100ml - WNBA, this was my second bottle and I've grown bored with it, used this one up as a bathroom air freshener.

INs
Boots Maize Starch Powder 500g
Cien Banana Hand Mousse 75ml
Cien Banana Lip Mousse 9ml
Johnson's Baby Powder 255g - Aloe & Vitamin E - This looks like the one they discontinued several years ago then tried to replace with the awful Cottontouch one, glad this is back and better than before! Might be my new HG powder, it's better quality than the Boots one so makes up for it being essentially twice the price.
Oral B Calm - Extra Fresh 75ml x 2 - HG toothpaste
XHC Shampoo & Conditioner Bar 60g x 3 (in Banana, Coconut and Papaya) - Only 99p each and will hopefully replace my bottle when I go swimming.

Superdrug shower gel Coconut & White Peach - moving to bar soap so WNBA
IN:

Naturally Radiant hot cloth cleanser mini
2x mini toothpastes, both part used
Multiple mini shower gels, body lotions, shampoos and conditioners.

uuBody Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter - this was just a mini tin, I have a full size in the stash. I did find it a bit hard to get out of the tin near the end, it just sort of moves around the edges, it's the heat I reckon.Gruum Charcoal Facial Bar - this was nice on the skin but very, very soft and particularly melty in the heat.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Some INs from yesterday, let's say I went a bit mad. BUT I am seeing this for what it is, I love shopping, I love beauty, this thread IS helping me because I am saying No to more stuff, it's just baby steps for me. All of the stuff I bought was basically from outlet places in Swindon, where I can't simply add things to my wishlist as they won't be there next time, or they will be elsewhere but back to much MUCH more money.
I have always been a 'stuff' person as well, and I find bargains irresistible so I can't see me ever NOT having a decent sized stash (just not one as large as I have now), is anyone else like me?
I will list the INs later once I have them in my spreadsheet (geek)No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Don't worry @kadison, I have a spreadsheet as well 😁
I also miss Sephora, but will be going to the states in a few weeks so will definitely be visiting one while I'm there. Most of the brands are now available over here so it's lost is appeal a little bit but I love the mini things and Sephora own brand stuff is pretty good too. Oh and the giftsets can be quite good value sometimes.
Actually came to report a UU:
La Roche Posay Serozinc Mini Spray - WBA but they seem to have discontinued the travel sized version. I use this every day as a toner and my skin loves it. Guess I'll just have to try and decant large bottles when I come to travel now.
