Hi
I bought a restaurant voucher from Itison, due to family illness we were unable to use this, tbh it fell off the radar. I've just remembered about it and find it expired in June. The restaurant advise me they only get paid by Itison when a booking is fulfilled and they have a code to claim against.
Itison are telling me this has expired and I am not entitled to a refund or to move it to use on something else. So I have paid for something I haven't received, the restaurant have not been paid and Itison have the money where no good or services were provided.
I am in Scotland, can anyone advise on what I can do please?
Many thanks

Not a lot you can do about this, legally, if it's in their terms and conditions - though it's grossly wrong and quite scandalous that companies are allowed to do this. The only thing you can do is ask them to extend it, but they almost certainly won't.
Try, though - you might be lucky.
If they won't, take a look at this to use: https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/advice/there-s-an-unfair-term-in-my-contract-how-can-i-complain-and-get-my-money-back-aeHsV7t85zl5
Mention of a bad Trustpilot review as well as action from the above might just persuade them.1
