Quick Loan Advice

Hello

I need a quick advice regarding a loan application which i will be applying in 2 months time.

I need around £5000 loan for my wedding in March. I am earning around 22k a year and i am on electrol since june 2006 and been living on same address from last 4 years.

I have got 3 credit cards since june 2006 and paying of card without any missed payment but i do have balance of £950 (£1000 limit) on my barclaycard.

So i need advice to apply for a loan where i would have more chances to be accepted , basically dont want to have many searches on my file.

I would appreciate your advice.

Thanks.

  • Sorry if this sounds like a downer - but what happens if you are turned down for the loan in 2 months or 1 month before the wedding?

Quite honestly, why do you want to get further in debt at 22? Can't you have a cheaper wedding or save up for a year first? You are proposing to spend around 33% of your after tax salary on a wedding, and can only do so by borrowing. Save a little first and avoid the debt headache latter.

I do have savings of £3000 until now , basically i am flying to Dubai to get married ! and paying off my credit card next month in full.
  • You haven't answered the question of what happens if you don't get the loan.
