National Insurance 2017/18 tax year went from "full year" to "year not full"

Hello,
I just noticed from my NI record that for 2017/18 it says the year is not full and that I need to contribute a few hundred to make up the shortfall. The last time I checked, a year or so ago, it said the year was full.
I have NI credits for 50 weeks and voluntary contributions for 2 weeks (I had paid £20-30 a few years back to make this year full - the £20-30 was stated that needed to be paid to make the year full).
Why is the year not full any more?

Can you post the screenshots (without personal data) showing the old position and what it shows now.0

Don't have the old position and can't remember what it said.Currently it has contributions as follows:Voluntary 2 weeksNI credits 50 weeksI remember for that tax year I was unemployed and was claiming contribution based JSA (for 6 months if I remember). Presumably the 50 weeks correspond to this JSA claim and the voluntary is the c. £20 contribution I made personally.I remember it said I could pay c. £20 to get the year as full, which I did a few years back and then it got updated to say full year. But now it says it is not a full year and I need to pay £400 to make it full.0

I would be giving the NI office a call

True, but it wouldn't cost £400 to buy that additional week

So i called in to find out what is going on and it appears that there was an error on their side of giving me 50 weeks when it should have been half as much.I guess it is because for contributions based JSA it only runs for 6 months (i.e. 25/26 weeks)?2

Do you / will you need that full year to get to your maximum pension amount and/or does the payment of the now extra £400 to make it a full year still make it worthwhile? If not then the £20 you paid will be wasted so, as it was paid in good faith by you based on information they now admit is wrong due to their error, then I would be seeking to have it refunded (plus some interest on top). Although whether the likely effort and aggro of chasing for £20 would be worth the hassle is another issue....0
