    Hi, I was just surprised they mentioned an RCD  at all!
    I am a big fan of them but they do not always work well with some electronic equipment that cause non sinusoidal waveforms.
    Inverters are often hard wired as fixed installation without their own RCD and rely on a main supply RCD ......that often is, funny this, a 100mA imbalance trip. Being less sensitive they accept a greater level of the 'odd' waveform with potentially radio frequency components.


    But just for everyone in general, if your RCD trips frequently and becomes a nuisance, do not just go and change it for a higher value one. Presume first it trips because of a fault and check and rectify that!
