Is my Inverter dead?

Options
Just noticed my panels aren't generating anything.

I had panels fitted 7 years ago with a Solis 3.6kw single phase Inverter.

The Inverter power light is on but the operation light is flashing and the display just keeps saying 'initialising' whilst the inverter clunks intermittently. Is it dead?

I think it is under warranty and will check tomorrow but if it isn't and I have to foot the bill, are there better options to replace it with?

Thanks
16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. Installed 29/9/2015 - £4700 (Norfolk Solar Together Scheme); 9.6kWh US2000C Pylontech batteries + Solis Inverter installed 12/4/2022 Year target (PVGIS-CMSAF) = 3880kWh - Installer estimate 3452 kWh:Average over 6 years = 4400 :j

It does appear to be a common issue. You might find this video of interest:
If you aren't happy undertaking an investigation and fix, it would definitely be cheaper and more environmentally friendly to get someone to do it for you than buying a new inverter.

Interesting, thanks. Way beyond my capabilities and not sure I will find anyone who can be bothered to do it instead of just switching the inverter out but will bear it in mind.
