Over a year ago, I joined the forum to help guide me through what to do; from completing my income /outgoings form to advise of what and when to do things and of course the much anticipated /dreaded phone call when it came to pushing the 'send' button to declare bankruptcy.
Now a year later, my name is off the individual insolvency list (IIL) and I get an occasional kick from putting my information into the necessary fields and seeing that I am no longer on the 'list.'
To all that advised and answered my questions and queries - I'd like to say 'Thank You!' it was much appreciated, if not that some of the questions are, I'm sure, often repeated here in one form or another.
To those that are embarking upon what seems like the end of the world, it's not, hang in there and manage your money as best you can to stay within the limits that are available to you.
Like the rest of the country now, there are further financial pressures placed on everyone. A year ago, I had plans of putting money aside to help build up my credit rating again. As things stand now, that'll probably have to wait as the country tries to grapple with ever increasing energy prices /crisis and not to forget the general cost of living crisis that has also hit.
Keep you heads held high, stay the course with better times coming - good luck to everyone and remain positive.

Well done.
Do try and put something aside as part of your budgeting, even if it's a tenner a month. That might help with a trip to the dentist or an emergency train ticket. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing3
