2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	To enter the competition you must head online to https://planetradio.co.uk/kiss/competitions/, enter your details and simply choose if you want to represent ‘Team Chicken’ or ‘Team Colonel’- there is no right or wrong choice. All valid entries will be pooled, and entrants will be selected by electronic random draw at 9am every day from Monday 1st August – Friday 5th August.   There will be a maximum of 10 short-listed entrants from Monday 1st Aug - Friday 5th August, a maxium of 2 shortlisted entrants a day. If a shortlisted entrant does not want to take part in the on-air mechanic another shortlisted entrant will be selected in their place. Being shortlisted does not mean it is guarenteed that you'll come on-air to play and does not deem you a winner.    There are 5 potential winning moments in this on-air competition, one winner per day from Monday 1st Aug – Friday 5th Aug.     How to enter: To enter the competition, simply choose if you want to represent ‘Team Chicken’ or ‘Team Colonel’- there is no right or wrong choice. All valid entries will be pooled, and entrants will be selected by electronic random draw at 9am every day from Monday 1st August – Friday 5th August.   Mechanic: Pre-register your interest in playing on-air by choosing if you want to represent Team Chicken or Team Colonel. If you are successfully chosen to play the on-air game, a member of the production team will call to brief you in.   Every day from Monday 1st August until Friday 5th August, there will be an on-air ‘battle’ between two pre-registered listeners. The ‘battle’ consists of 3 questions that are related to current topical interests for that day (e.g Love Island, the news etc). The topic of questions will be different each day and announced in the competition setup. The shortlisted entrants will come on-air to play the ‘battle’ and represent the team they have chosen online, Tyler (the presenter) will ask a question, and the entrant to shout out the name of their team first will have the chance to answer the question first. If the team answers the question incorrectly, the other team will have the chance to answer the question correctly.   The team which answers the most questions correctly for that days battle will win that days prize and be brought back to play again the next day for the chance to win the prizes of that day as well.   The winning team will need to come on the show again the following day and ‘battle’ it out again to prove they are the reigning champion. The winning team will win the main prize of that day. As it is a winner stays on mechanic, if a team wins one day, they will need to come and compete again the following day until they lose.   Every day is a different prize of the same value (Monday-Thursday) but there is a large prize on Friday 5th August – this prize is open to being won by either team playing on Friday. the aim is to continue winning every day and make it to Friday 5th August for the chance to win the ultimate prize.   In the chance of a draw, there will be tie-breaker questions asked on the day in order to reveal our winner.   Each day during the on-air competition dates, the losing team of the day will be awarded £50 towards KFC as a commiseration prize.
3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   Pre-register entries are valid from (the “Start Time”) Wednesday 27thJuly 00:01 until Thursday 4th August 09:00am (“End Time”).   The on-air element of this competition will be live from Monday 1stAugust until Friday 5th August during the KISS FM UK drive time show, specific times of the competition will be announced during the show they are within.     Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.   If the shortlisted entrant cannot be contacted upon the first initial attempt to contact them/the on-air draw, then we will re-draw until we draw an entrant that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
