    My house is a semi, and my panels run pretty much all the way to the party wall. (I had to ask the installers to move them a few cm along the track as they looked to be overlapping next door when they started fitting them).
    I'd ask for your Option 4 - four panels, two landscapre below, two portrait above - but shuffled to the right to make fuller use of your roof area.
    If you need to pay for the extra two panels out of your own pocket, get a quote and decide for yourself.
