First Direct - mortgage offer validity

Hi, I'm looking to remortgage very shortly as my current deal expires at the end of January 2023.  Does anyone know if the 6 month validity period for a mortgage offer from first direct runs from the date of application or the date the mortgage offer is actually made? Desperate to get a rate locked in as soon as possible but don't want to jump the gun. Thanks

@gturner83 Don't know about FD as they are direct only but HSBC (their parent company) offers are valid for 6 months from issue.

Thanks @K_S - someone else I know has now confirmed it's from the point of issue of the offer so I think we're going to go ahead and put our application forward in the next day or two as we hit the 6 months point next week.
