Just saw this on CV libary, health and safety advisor
“You will also have the reassurance of a job guarantee within 20 miles of your location upon completion”
“If you are not offered a role at the end of the training we will refund 100% of your course fees.“

How can they grauntee a job unless there’s loads of demand, if there is it’s either really difficult or not a nice job but this job seems fine, and high salary.

Can you provide a link to the advert/company.

So, you are paying to do a course and will gain a qualification.
People with that qualification can earn good salary.
There are a lot of (transient) roles for that qualification, so there will always be openings.
Not all of the jobs will pay the good salary that is mentioned by the course organisers.
Many of the jobs will be an an agency rather than permanent basis.
What is the qualification being offered? Something like SMSTS?0 -
Here’s the link, that makes sense about temp job they may offer at end

It states you will be offered a job, but what if you don’t want it, what if the job offered is not what you have trained for, you don’t get your money back then.0

What if they have a sister company who'll offer you a job on national minimum wage job doing shift work? If you accept the offer they then let you go after the first day saying you didn't fit in the team.sim2335 said:Just saw this on CV libary, health and safety advisor

They've ticked the box of you having been offered a role and so course fees are safe.

They can't guarantee it, but they're confident enough to wager their course fees on it.sim2335 said:Just saw this on CV libary, health and safety advisor

They also seem to be charging on the high side - so even if they refund a proportion of the fees they will still come out ahead.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Oh, I think they could guarantee that "a role" would be "offered". That's not that it would be relevant to the course nor that it would be acceptable to the OP.Ergates said:

They say they're working with employers so in theory they are training people to fill roles that are available.
Of course the devil is in the detail so you would need to look at the terms to see what you are actually guaranteed0
