Solar panels mis selling - Green Energy (creation)

I just want to let others know  in case it may help them, that I have successfully claimed 90% of the money back from Green Energy (Creation) for mis selling of solar panels.  We purchased the solar panels back in 2015 for approximately £8000 and were told by the salesman we would recoup the money they cost in around 9yrs, and then we could expect an income from them.  However this wasn’t the case. I wrote to Creation Consumer finance  in 2020 as Green Energy have since gone bust  detailing what I was told by the sales man, they then asked me to provide any information I may have to back up this claim.  I have provided electricity bills, FIT statements and brochure information that I have from this time and accrued over the years.  It has taken me 2yrs to finalise the claim and finally receive reimbursement for the money I originally paid out.  Not sure if it took so long due to covid and staff working from home or whether they are  just slow dealing with the claims. But i just want to let people know not to give up and pursue any mis selling claims as it’s definitely worth it.
