CSA Payment Calculations

Hello, I am after some help please.

I have received the packs through the post to contact the CSA.

I have read through and understand the amount is calculated by gross income less tax. I presume I work this out through my yearly gross from my p60 minus the total tax I paid for the year from my last pay slip from the relevant year?

One thing I was wondering. Do the CSA take into account any student loan repayments that are made, are these deducted from your gross also.

My P60 is my gross amount already minus pension (I assume you mean pension and not tax)
I would check very closely what figure they use. Mine is 2k higher than my actual salary. 

They say they got it from HMRC but both my P60 and my personal tax account show a figure 2k lower. Like always they don’t explain how they calculate then cut me off when I explain they have to tell me how they came by this figure. Another complaint has been submitted.

Yes, sorry I meant pension. Thank you for this, I will make sure I check.

They will not take your student loan into account.  

The only things they take into account would be travel costs to see your children which isn’t much and if you are paying towards joint debts.
