Nvidia shield & ROMs

I'm a bit late to the party but I got myself a Nvidia Shield TV Pro and I understand you can play various ROMs on it. I believe I need to download Retroarch from the play store. I'm really here to find out suitable reliable sources for ROMs without going to dodgy sites. There's various platforms I'm interested in. The old Amstrad & then some console games. If possible then it'd be preferable to download a load of them per-platform in something like a zip file than having to download title by title. I know this would result in a load of games that probably aren't wanted but it would be the quickest way. I was just hoping for help on reliable sources for this. Thank you.

There's a few websites that have roms available - cdromance, romhustler, emuparadise, etc. I don't think any of them offer any sort of "bulk" download option though.

You mentioned "console games" but which ones? Also, what would you classify as "dodgy"?
