Tesco online groceries-where have all the bananas gone?

Have been a ‘loyal’ online shopper at Tescos for years, recently and especially today many of my ‘favourites’ were unavailable, no bananas, salad bags to name but a few, yet my neighbour who shopped this morning said plenty bananas. Are Tesco trying to stop shopping online to save on fuel? Any ideas anyone?
I have cancelled this weeks order and will go to Lidl tomorrow.

Your Tesco order might come from a warehouse, not the local shop. It could be picked at 6am for an 8am delivery (earliest I've seen them take payment, at least!) and the bananas came in at 6.15am. Lots of reasons you may not have got bananas aside from conspiracy. There's still supply chain problems affecting so many products due to the general state of world, and I know Tesco would prefer to sell me something than not.
I got some bananas yesterday, but there were no own brand tortilla chips at all. Probably lots of people having barbecues with dips, not a masterplan to get me into the store.2 -
I received bananas with my online Tesco shop on Monday. But not cheddar cheese - reason given - "no shelf label" what on earth does that mean and I can't believe there was no cheddar cheese at all in the shop.0

No bananas does not equal a conspiracy.
I only received about half of my order this week. It turned out that all the fridges and freezers in the store that serves me had failed due to the excessive heat and all such stock had to be disposed of. They are still recovering now.
They have also gone really poor at substitutes but I also know why this is - a purpose built picking system going through teething issues. Its improving slowly.

I had my first Tesco order tonight. Several items unavailable, several covered in someone else’s washing liquid (they left them with me and refunded) 8 chilled items missing and several other chilled items included which I had not ordered. Poor delivery driver said he’d had problems with incorrect labels all day on the chilled items. Sent the unordered items back, and got refunds for the items not received by phoning the help number. They also gave me a £5 online voucher in compensation. It will be a long time before I use it and when I go shopping to buy the chilled items tomorrow it won’t be to Tesco.
