The heatwave might be over, but the Money Tips email is here full of red hot tips to make the most of your cash

Take a butchers when you can, but here are five highlights to whet your whistle:

  1. Save £230 on a Shark cordless vacuum
Via discount code. Plus free delivery.

  2. Martin: 'Energy bills to rise 65% in October: 9 energy need to know NOWS.'
What steps you can take (including should you fix?) and what help's available

  3. Struggling with school uniform costs?
Check if you can get a grant worth up to £200.

  4. £2 to £4 dresses, shoes, tops - some ex-high street
    1,500+ items in Everything5pounds' sale

  5. Caught out by a tax rebate firm pocketing half of your cash?
What to do if you've been caught out and how to claim for free

While I've got you...

Check Facebook next week for a preview💻

Huge thanks to anyone who checked the MSE Facebook page for the early preview of the email on Tuesday evening. Every week we post a preview in return for feedback. Any bugs or inaccuracies you spot help us to perfect the email before it goes out officially.

Send us your Money Moral Dilemma🤔

You might be a fan of the Money Moral Dilemma, a long-time feature of the email which gets its own Forum thread so you can discuss (here's this week's). If you've got a Money Moral Dilemma of your own you'd like to share, email it to us at mmd@moneysavingexpert.com and it might end up in a future Money Tips email.

i saw the article for "are you paying more than £5 for your mobile" , i went through the mse link on here to lebara, but discovered today that the full amount had been taken from my bank account, rang them and they said i had not activated the offer. I see no code on the mse site, and on the lebara page there is mention of the £2.99 per month for the first six months for new customers, which i am, so where did i go wrong.??
