If you're on a low income and struggling with the cost of school uniform, you could get up to £200 to help in the form of a non-repayable grant. To help, we've searched through council websites to find which offer it – check below to see if you're eligible and what you could get.

According to the list it shows my council (Rotherham) as giving £30 to schools but I can't find anything about that on the councils website so I'm wondering where you got the information from so that I can refer to it. Thanks.

Thanks.Hi Beki88,The scheme is listed on Rotherham's website here: Help with school uniform costs.The website doesn't list the amount, but when we asked the council in July, it told us: "To answer your enquiry, school uniform payments are worth £30 per child."Hope this helps,
