iCloud and 'Find My' can cause problems if the previous owner hasn't disabled 'Find My' on the device and then removed the device from his/her iCloud account. If this hasn't been done, when it 'phones home' during set up by a new owner it won't proceed.1

We have tried to follow ytube vlogs to no avail, so it is now with the local computer repair people, the man who was there tried a couple of things whilst I was there, but neither worked so it should be fixed next week some time. They charge a fixed price which seems low to me but I'm hoping it will be repaired, if not then I'm your gal to properly break it!!!
