All clean now.Another rather murky start to the day. Yesterday turned into a fine day eventually, it's just a long wait for it. I read a comment about having a hot day is not the same as having a sunny day which is true for here.I spent some time re-reading my essays and then even longer scanning them and crumpling up the paper ready to get burned today. There's two more longer documents which I'll do today or tomorrow. There was the usual long phone call from Australia in the morning. My SIL and friend are winding down from their day with a glass of wine and I'm starting my day with coffee, they are more talkative than me! 😀This morning I'll do a little light shopping and drop off some unwanted wool to a woman who's doing a charity knit-a-thon locally. If the clouds and rain go away I'd like to sit in the garden.I hope that everyone is doing OK and safe. Happy Saturday to all.9

            Morning all
Another lovely day here meant to get up to 27 today, its much nicer when you are not at work with full gear and a mask on ! Next Monday and Tuesday we have warnings for its going to get up to 40
WM is on and doing its thing it can be hung out, should dry very quickly today, will have a tidy through this morning although I did some yesterday after work so not too much needed.
We are off to watch a local band play on the village green tonight, we have been before and its a lovely evening, you take your own picnic and drink and sit outside and watch the band and have a dance, we are taking french sticks, cheese, cold meats, olives, crisps and dips, and we have some of those frozen cocktails, should be a good evening.
Will take the dogs out this afternoon to the woods where it is a bit cooler there is a pond that they can cool off in as well, mum is coming to sit with them tonight so they wont be on there own for hours.
 Have good days all xx10

            Morning everyone
The sky is blue and the sun is shining - it's meant to be a lovely day today. Yesterday it rained, torrential at times, then brightened up about 6pm,
Little one is coming about 10.30 as DD is going out with friends for the day and she'll have her sleepover tonight instead of last night.
I'm planning to spend the day outside and have some big boxes in the shed we can make a house or something out of...she loves a roll of masking tape!
Only one more week at nursey and the classroom is looking very bare! A puppy came to visit us yesterday afternoon which was very exciting.
Redruby - sounds like it will be a fun evening.
Our temperature is forecast to get up to 31 on Tuesday - quite unheard of for Berwick!
Well I'm going to do some banking - I got my cost of living payment this morning as I'm on Universal Credit - it's going straight into my savings account for emergencies.
Hope everyone has a good day x9

            Morning All
Overcast this morning but could brighten up. Washing on the line, another load in. Yesterday's bedding went straight back on the bed.
The decorating is finished, I think it took longer to clean up than it took to paint. All looking spick and span now, will look for a duvet cover - the only one I liked was £95 so that can stay in the shop!
Going to Ikea this morning to return a curtain pole and various fixings, the tension pole I bought seems to be doing the job. Will also go to Sainsburys as it's nearby.
Sounds a lovely evening Ruby, hope you enjoy yourselves.
Enjoy making houses dp1, good you got the payment.
Glad your appointments went well NRA.
Have a good weekend, take care. XX8

Morning all, after all my furious fanning of the sun up north yesterday our day went over cloudy, but the temperature was just right. Thank you to those who had their fingers crossed for Mr Fix It yesterday, his call came just after 1pm so the afternoon was free then. His cells have gone up again, but not by much and they are not overly concerned yet as it sometimes fluctuates after treatment, so now he's off the hook till January.
I got everything done yesterday and even put all the gravel down, nearly killed me but it's all done now. I'm a bit achy and my legs are black and blue where I fell over the wheelbarrow though. I was Clumsy Clara in a rampage yesterday as I burnt my hand on the slow cooker and dropped Mr Fix It's metal watch on my toe, that hurt more than the tumble, but it didn't break, it just bounced, the watch I mean not my toe 😂
Today I have found some more washing to do and it's doing it's thing at present, then Dad is coming over for the day as I refuse to do a cooked dinner tomorrow if it's going to be that hot. I'm going to do a steak and ale pie with roasties, veg and gravy, it's getting far too hot to cook a chunk of meat for hours.
Snoozer good luck to Steve for next week.
Right time to hang the washing out, I hope everyone has a good day.
Take care all, stay safe and cool.

Morning all. FInally finished lifting the good stones yesterday, unfortunately, I was with nanny in spirit and twisted my ankle on a dippy bit. Walking painful this morning. OH has said he will help putting the rubbish ones down. I don't really want him to, I want to knacker myself out All my hard work in the back bedroom totally undone yesterday because I want to put something under the lean to roof to stop the sun from boiling my fridge freezer to death so I unearthed one of the massive velvet curtains that I had from a church, which were completely underneath one corner and had to get everything out from in front of the ladder which was helpfully right at the back. OH will help with stapling that to the roof today. Lost another pound, this is going too slowly but this is obviously my own fault for 'treating' myself to something small every day, it all adds up...a biscuit here, a coffee with sugar there and extra few grates of parmesan....Izzy great idea, I don't have a body form to work to and can't face the spray foan and duct tape method...I know what I want but I don't know how to draught it. Perhaps that's something I should learn. Camelot, I have a similar problem. Show me three things and I'll always pick the most expensive one All my hard work in the back bedroom totally undone yesterday because I want to put something under the lean to roof to stop the sun from boiling my fridge freezer to death so I unearthed one of the massive velvet curtains that I had from a church, which were completely underneath one corner and had to get everything out from in front of the ladder which was helpfully right at the back. Morning all been to the shops to get salad bits as no cooking till at least Wednesday due to the temps 2 loads on the line new parasol and base set up over the outdoor table and 1 washing load in the machine whirring away. I bought a chicken to cook in the air fryer but i don't know what i did wrong it was rubber chicken for sure and had an odd taste so i have had to throw it away still i cooked up all my veg and potatoes that i had left from last week and froze them i don't know what happened but i over ordered i will put it down to the meds for my back i ended up with 2x green and 2x blue 4 winters of milk and 3 loaves of bread plus all the veg still sorted now.
Nanny Good news for Mr Fixit not so good for you try and rest up today
Taff hope you are ok maybe you are channelling the wrong energies but a 1lb is a 1lb loss so moving the right way
 Poppy enjoy your pimms afternoon
NRA sounds like you both passed the medicals which is good news
Ruby sounds like a wonderful way to while away a summer evening I am very jealous
Gers Hope the sun comes out for you later to enjoy your garden
Right better get on quick tidy round as the beginning of next week will be spent in the tub with no heating on or in a dark room with a fan. Have a good day whatever you are up to stay safe and enjoy the weather safelyxxx
