Wrong Operator name on IAS POPLA Appeal site

So just for a dalliance, I started an Appeal on IAS POPLA...[Note I never pay parking scumcos and know what i'm doing etc, i did this for fun...so worry not for me!]
Typed in the POPLA code [8 digits]...and next bit loads the Operator name, and asks me to confirm 'this is the correct operator name'. If not, call POPLA. It's not, so I do.
Now the name is ABC Limited, but POPLA popped up ABD - EW. Now legally speaking they are not the same.
POPLA say ..oh the first three digits are the op id and that is correct, the operator is ABC Limited. So I say...but you're asking me to confirm the name is ABC - EW, not ABC Limited....so I can't confirm, so I can't proceed.
POPLA - But I'm telling you it's the 'right company', just we have it on our website as ABC EW, so just tick the confirm.
[BTW EW means England and Wales]
Me - But its not the operator, it nearly but its not...so you're asking me to try to pervert the course of justice by lying in an appeal??
POPLA - hold the line...OK you can either confirm it as correct or not complete the appeal....
So guess what I did...I guess we might see hw court views it eventually [again I ain't too frightened]
Wonder how mnay operators his applies to...
