    There's one on A****n that is £39.99. The one above is 160cm x 130cm whilst the A one is 160cm x 120cm.

By the way, why do we blank out shops here?
    Hi,
you don't need to, Amazon, Tesco, Morrisons all work, on the DIY forum some folk type stopc**k, when stopcock is meant.
  • Thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to reply, your responses have all been really helpful, and it seems sensible to make an investment in one. Looking at what we pay per kw, they seem to average about 3p an hour to run, which is incredible. I've also been looking at the warranties and most seem to come with a years warranty, so I  might hold off ordering until September to make the most of that.

    Thanks again 🙂

To be honest I'd buy it now if you can, before the colder weather approaches and everyone else thinks of buying one.
Also stock might decrease and prices increase!

I second that, get in while you can just in case that horse bolts

PS, if it's the guarantee that worries you, why not splurge an extra three quid and get the next one up at £42.99? Two-year warranty and a bit softer so it says

i know back in the day (pre-2008) it was a thing on the old style and shopping sub-forums. it was explained to me if there was a misprice or a loophole it could be exploited for longer and not picked up by google. i know some people use it when they want to offer an option but make it clear they dont support or promote the store. for me its habit to write sainsbugs or MrT

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

I thought it was so we didn’t give them free market research - they use programs which crawl the web looking for discussions like this and price according to how much demand they identify
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Most DIY problems can be solved by a combination of spanner, pliers, screwdriver, Allan key and a blade. (Hold it, twist it, cut it!) Very occasionally industrial language, a hammer and an adhesive may need to be added to the mix. (Curse it, hit it, patch it!)

Thank you both, I hadn't thought of it that way and it actually prompted me to look into the extended warranty and accidental damage cover offered. I have ordered one with an extended warranty for 3 years, and only cost a few extra pounds. I looked into the terms and it seemed to cover every eventuality I could foresee, so I'm happy with that. Thanks everyone for your help and advice 🙂
